Rochester Ice Hawks defensemen Tyler Roberg (Rice Lake, Wis.) and Twin Cities Northern Lights goaltender Nick Kohn (Hartland, Wis.) were selected 14 picks apart midway through Wednesday’s NAHL Entry Draft, each landing with the Chicago Hitmen.
Chicago took Roberg with its sixth round selection, and then came right back to nab Kohn early in the seventh round.

Roberg played in 54 games for the regular season and Bush Cup playoff champion Ice Hawks this past winter, scoring five goals and assisting on 18 others from the Rochester blue line.
Kohn took the crease in 25 games for Twin Cities last year, finishing with an 8-6 record and a goals against average of 3.44 for the Northern Lights.
Both players participated with their respective teams in the Tier III Junior A National Tournament this past April.
